Alleged child rapist to face NSW court

A NSW man who allegedly sexually molested and raped a child several times over eight years, starting when the girl was five, has been charged.
The 35-year-old was arrested in Nowra on Wednesday night by detectives from the child abuse squad and charged with 19 sexual offences.
"Police will allege in court that the man assaulted a young girl on numerous occasions over the last eight years, during which the girl was aged between five and 13-years-old," police said.

The 35-year-old man, who is from the Southern Highlands, is facing two counts of sexual intercourse with a child aged between 10 and 14 years, and 17 other sexual assault charges.
He is due before Nowra Local Court on Thursday.
