Man charged with attempted murder after 'mowing down pair near pub'
A man has been charged with attempted murder after an alleged hit and run that has left a woman fighting for lift and a man hurt.
Police allege the pair were deliberately mowed down by a car in the car park of the Alexandra Hills pub on Finucane Road in Alexandra Hills, west of Brisbane, about 11.30pm yesterday.
Witnesses said the scene was "horrific" .

The 25-year-old woman suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital for treatment.
She remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A 24-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
He has been discharged.
A 34-year-old man was found by police in Salisbury in Brisbane's south.
He has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of possessing utensils or pipes that had been used.
The man has been denied bail to face court tomorrow.
