Aldi's ski gear sale caused pandemonium at some stores across Sydney this morning.
Keen shoppers arrived early and additional safety measures were put in place this year.

A plan of attack was crucial for shoppers looking to get their hands on items from the sale range, including ski and snowboarding clothing and accessories.
"We've all allocated different jobs. We'll just throw them into the trolley," a family at the sale told 9News.
Hundreds of extra security guards were also hired by the German supermarket giant, who didn't have a snow sale last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

From Hornsby to Chatswood and Canterbury to the Northern Beaches, queues of cars snaked their way through car parks for hours.
Some shoppers were determined to get their hands on the sale items, while others were at the supermarket to do their grocery shopping.

"To be honest I'm here for the beers, I'm not here for the ski stuff," a shopper said.
When the doors opened, the race was on with triumph for some and heartbreak for others.
In the end, most shoppers got what they came for.
