Queensland aged care worker accused of stealing, using 104-year-old's debit card
A female aged care worker has been charged after she allegedly stole a debit card from a 104-year-old man and racked up thousands of dollars in purchases.
The 32-year-old woman was working at an aged care facility in Redland Bay, greater Brisbane.
An investigation was launched by police in August after a report was received from another employee at the facility on behalf of the 104-year-old man.

The man had noticed his debit card was missing.
Police allege the aged care worker used the credit card to make personal purchases and withdrawals between 19 August to 21 August.
The unauthorised transactions from the elderly victim's debit card amounted to thousands of dollars, police say.
The aged care facility worked closely with detectives during their investigation, Queensland Police said.
The woman was arrested in Birkdale on Tuesday and later charged with 40 counts of stealing.
She is expected to appear before Cleveland Magistrates Court on 11 November.
