Essendon players officially served with anti-doping notices, now facing bans

The AFL has wasted no time in issuing infraction notices against 34 current and past Essendon players.
The anti-doping notices were sent out late today and relate to the club's controversial 2011-12 supplements program.
News of the infraction notices comes a day after the the national Anti-Doping Rule Violation Panel had placed the players on the register of findings.
The players will now go before an AFL anti-doping tribunal.
They are accused of taking the banned substance Thymosin Beta-4.
If found guilty, the players will potentially face two-year bans.
The identities of the players remain anonymous.
