Pair arrested after allegedly breaking into Adelaide home and attacking man
Two people have been arrested after allegedly breaking into a man's apartment and assaulting him in Adelaide's CBD overnight.
Police believe a man and woman allegedly armed with a knife forced their way into a 42-year-old's apartment on Pulteney Street about 1.15am.
After the alleged assault, police said the pair activated the fire alarm while leaving the apartment building, causing everyone to evacuate.

The victim suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
Police searched the area for the pair and pulled over a vehicle on North Terrace just before 2am.
A 49-year-old Adelaide man and a 42-year-old Birkenhead woman were arrested and charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass and assault.
The man was also charged with breaching bail and was refused police bail to appear in court today.
The woman was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on November 13.
