Adelaide L-plater and driving instructor both test positive to cannabis

A learner driver and his supervisor have both tested positive to cannabis after a routine traffic stop in Adelaide’s inner-west.

Police stopped their car on Henley Beach Road in Lockleys on Wednesday afternoon and gave both of them roadside drug tests.

The 26-year-old learner driver from Torrensville and his 50-year-old male supervisor both tested positive to cannabis.

Police said both men were instructed not to drive, and may be summoned to attend court pending further analysis of the samples.
