Kangaroos rescued after getting stuck in Adelaide warehouse office
A kangaroo got stuck inside a warehouse office in Adelaide's West prompting a dramatic rescue to help the animal.
When warehouse manager Andrew Hargreaves arrived at his office in Richmond this morning, he was shocked to find a kangaroo was hopping around inside.
"I wasn't expecting it that's for sure. You know, it's the only thing you see on the news which here we are," Hargreaves told 9news.com.au.

The kangaroo jumped around the showroom and office of the Adelaide business before rescuers tried helping her get out. 9News
Hargreaves said had gone into the back of the office to grab a customer order when he first noticed the kangaroo.
"I just thought, what is going on here? You know, where would this thing have come from?"
The kangaroo followed Hargreaves into his showroom, before making itself at home inside an office.
Adelaide rescuers realised the kangaroo was a female who had a joey hidden inside her pouch. 9News
"I gave it some water, some bread. It was actually coming up to me, so it was quite friendly, quite calm. And then it started coming into the showroom, just walking around customers," Hargreaves said.
Fauna Rescue was called to help free the kangaroo, with rescuers saying "it was bigger than what we expected".

The marsupial managed to get a few kicks in before a rescuer was able to gain control.
Rescuers suspect the kangaroo got stuck in the Adelaide office because she was looking for food. 9News
As rescuers tried helping they soon realised they were dealing with a female kangaroo who had a joey hidden in her pouch, explaining her initial defensive behaviour.
"Kangaroos get quite defensive when cornered in that situation," rescuer Simon Adamcyzk said.
Holding her arms and legs, rescuers were eventually able to place her in a carrier and take her out of the office.
But how mother and baby kangaroo ended up in the warehouse remains a mystery.
Adamcyzk suggests they potentially got lost trying to find new food in new grounds.
Rescuers believe the kangaroo made her way into the city from nearby scrubland at the top of Greenhill Road, which is where she was released back into the wild.
