Top AFL player Brad Crouch has signed a four-year contract with the Adelaide Crows.

The 22-year-old midfielder told the Adelaide Football Club he was “thrilled” with the new deal.

“I definitely see a very bright future here,” Crouch said.

His 2015 season was marred by a foot injury which left him unable to play a single match.

After intense rehabilitation, Crouch has returned to the 2016 this season as one of the AFL’s top players.

“All I wanted to do was play a good block of footy, contribute and feel part of the team again,” he said.

He was ranked the number one midfielder in the league for Round 20.

Crows Senior Coach Don Pyke believes Crouch will be an integral member of the team for many years to come.

“Since returning to the team, his form has been really impressive and we are excited for what the future holds for Brad,” Mr Pyke said.

Crouch began his professional AFL career in 2011, after being drafted by the Adelaide Crows.

His younger brother, Matt Crouch, was drafted to play for the Crows two years later.
