Man killed in fuel tanker crash near Adelaide
A 59-year-old driver of a fuel tanker has been killed in crash near Adelaide, with witnesses reporting seeing flames shoot 20 metres into the air.
Emergency services said the 14,000-litre tanker, believed to be carrying diesel, left the road, hit a tree and rolled, before catching fire in Meadows, in the Adelaide Hills, at 11pm yesterday.

A crew of 70 firefighters battled the blaze, the South Australia Country Fire Service said.
South Australian Police is investigating.
The man, from nearby Echunga, died at the scene, police said.

The fire was so intense it damaged the road Brookman Road, which remains closed today.
Staff from the Environment Protection Authority are investigating the spill of diesel.
