Woman discovers her home was firebombed watching live CCTV on her phone

A woman has told how she discovered her house had been firebombed when she checked the property's security cameras on her phone while she was at a friend's house in Adelaide's south.

CCTV shows the moment two attackers threw four Molotov cocktails onto the property, setting it alight on Atkinson Crescent in Aldinga Beach about 9.15pm yesterday.

The woman has said she believed she knew who the attackers were.

9News understands she is a friend of the man who was stabbed on nearby Hamilton Road at Aldinga Beach, just before 1pm yesterday.

South Australia Police are investigating whether the firebombing is linked to the stabbing.

The damage bill is expected to be about $300,000.

Authorities are calling on anyone with information to come forward as their investigations continue.
