Motorcyclist killed in ACT bus crash

A motorcyclist has died after his bike collided with a bus in the ACT.

The bike rider, believed to be in his 20's, hit the side of an ACTION bus in Barton on Wednesday night.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on Haydon Drive about 7.10pm and took the rider to Calvary Hospital but he died a short time later.

Police said the man's death is the third road-related fatality in the ACT this year.
