ACT employers are leading the nation in offering job opportunities at the same time more public service positions are under possible threat from the federal government.
New figures show ACT job advertisements on the internet jumped 4.9 per cent in April to 34.1 per cent for the year, making it the strongest jurisdiction in the country.
At the same time, total job ads across Australia fell 0.1 per cent but were still up 9.3 per cent over the year in seasonally adjusted terms, the Department of Employment said on Wednesday.
