Abbott to attend Lee Kuan Yew funeral

Prime Minister Tony Abbott will attend the funeral for former Singapore leader Lee Kuan Yew.
The funeral on Sunday is expected to be attended by a number of regional leaders.
"Lee Kuan Yew was the father of his nation, guiding Singapore's remarkable transformation from the third world to the first," Mr Abbott said in a statement on Wednesday.
