Child approached while walking to school in Abbotsford
Police are asking for help to locate a man after a young boy was approached while walking to school in Sydney's Inner West.
The 11-year-old boy was walking at the intersection of Figtree Avenue and Abbotsford Cove Drive, Abbotsford yesterday at about 8.20am when a small grey four-door hatchback pulled up next to him.

Police allege the driver asked the young boy if he wanted a lift, but the boy declined and ran towards his school. The driver did a U-turn and drove north along Abbotsford Cove Drive.
He is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 30s, with black shaved hair, brown eyes and a goatee.
Police were contacted by the boy's mother and investigators are asking any witnesses who may have information on the man to contact CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000.
