Woman dies in hospital after being hit by car in Melbourne
A woman has died after she was hit by a car in Melbourne's CBD earlier this year.
The 44-year-old Richmond woman was crossing Flinders Street, when she was hit by a vehicle, which was reversing down Flinders Street near Highlander Lane at 9.30am on May 26.
The woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries where she sadly died on July 9.

The driver of a Mazda CX-5 allegedly reversed down Flinders Street and struck a pedestrian in the CBD. Nine
Police arrested the driver of the vehicle, a 33-year-old Caulfield man, at the scene and he has since been released pending further enquiries.
Witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident is urged to contact police.
Police are continuing to investigate.
