Young man's dream takes flight thanks to kind-hearted flight crew

Nathan loves to travel. For him, planes are more than just transport, they're magic.

The 27-year-old, who lives with complex needs and will always need care, is Jetstar's proud number one fan.

At age five, he came to live with Vicki as one of her foster children and never left.

Vicky became his sole guardian and Nathan became a permanent and much-loved member of the family.

"He decided he should stay. He was about 10 when he said to me 'don't make me go anywhere, Mum, can I stay?' I said 'of course you can' and we just love him," she said.

While life hasn't always been kind to Nathan, his passion for aviation has never wavered.

So when Jetstar heard his story, the airline did something special.
