"I've been hosed with a garden hose, I've had a baseball bat pulled on me, I've had a cricket bat pulled on me, but never before have I had somebody flash their boobs at me," Nolan said about the time he confronted exotic dancer "Blondie".

The reporter tracked down the woman, whose real name is Bethany Edgecombe, after A Current Affair was contacted by the family of a 13-year-old boy who alleged that he was being groomed on social media by a woman who called herself a "blonde bombshell".

"The basis of this story is a really serious issue," Nolan said.

But when the reporter presented Ms Edgecombe with evidence against her, he wasn't expecting what came next.

Instead of taking the allegations seriously, she astonishingly lifted her top to flash the reporter and crew.

"This was a very unique situation; this wasn't something that you ever learn at university about becoming a journalist, of how you could handle a situation like this," Nolan said.

"I think at the time I was almost lost for words, probably for the first time in my life."

The reporter said while he momentarily stumbled with shock, he had to get some answers for the "horrified" family who wanted to know why she was allegedly sending their teen boy nude messages.
