What has changed since Paris last hosted the Olympics?
Paris 2024 is tipped to be the biggest Olympics ever, with more than 10,000 athletes from more than 200 nations, across 32 sports.
The Olympic village is so bustling with athletes, they are required to leave 48 hours after their event to make room for others.
But it's not the city's first rodeo with The Olympics.
The last time Paris hosted the event was in 1924, almost exactly 100 years ago, when it ran for three months and featured the first ever closing ceremony.

Victoria University Olympic researcher Dr Richard Baka said the games have come a long way since Paris last hosted the Olympics.

"There's almost totally egalitarianism now, the events are fifty-fifty" Baka said.
"They've done that with mixed relays and mixed events, and having women compete in sports that they didn't compete in before.
"So it's really exciting that we're seeing this happen 100 years later, when it wasn't so, we might say, opened back in 1924."
