'The sole of my foot was looking at me': Families emerge from fun centre with serious injuries

They promise indoor fun and games, but some people are emerging from play centres with serious long-term injuries.

"I snapped both bones. The sole of my foot was looking at me," father Adrian Vitello told A Current Affair. After his accident at a trampoline centre, the dad struggles to walk more than a couple of metres.

Seven-year-old Neve was also injured after going to an inflatable play centre for a friend's birthday.

"I was really sore," she told A Current Affair.

Her mother, Rachel Nugteren, said she simply "took it for granted" that these centres were safe.

Emma Hines from Shine Lawyers begs to differ though.

"I would say they are a very dangerous activity," she told A Current Affair.
