Toll fightback

There are worse things to be guilty of than racking up a few toll fines.

But drivers are being gouged more in penalties than criminals convicted of serious assault.

We do all we can to contact people and settle unpaid tolls before they reach infringement, making up to 10 attempts over 90 days to get in touch.

We are also making changes to further help people stay out of financial trouble due to unpaid tolls, including giving drivers more time to pay.

If someone is struggling to pay their tolls, we encourage them to contact us. Through our hardship programs and initiatives such as first-time forgiveness, we may be able to help people and prevent an unpaid debt getting bigger.
