With three sleeps until the Olympic games begin, Paris is poised for action.
The city of love is lined with fences and police, but that hasn't stopped tourists from all over the world travelling to see its famous landmarks, which have been transformed into Olympic arenas.
There will be beach volleyball under the Eiffel Tower, fencing and taekwondo at the Grand Palais, and the Stade de France, which formerly hosted Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, will host the athletic events.

But perhaps most epic of all, the Palace of Versailles' world-famous gardens have been transformed into an equestrian arena, allowing Olympians to ride like royalty.
"Many, many things have happened here since Louis the 14th, but this is certainly going to be one of the most extraordinary events," Palace of Versailles director Laurent Salomé said.
The Palace has been preparing for this moment for two years, restoring the chateau, fountains, sculptures, and perfecting the gardens.
