In the death-defying world of big-wave surfing, Tim Bonython is a legend.

Only he's not known for riding the insanely huge walls of water, but rather for filming those who do.

His new documentary Maya and the Wave focuses on the Brazilian big wave surfer who had to fight to compete with the men.
