'Three families tonight are grieving': Teen charged following horror crash

A 13-year-old boy has been charged after a Queensland nurse, a church pastor and a 17-year-old girl were killed in a car crash near Maryborough while another victim is fighting for her life.

"Three families tonight are grieving the loss of their loved ones and a fourth are just praying she pulls through," A Current Affair reporter Pippa Bradshaw told host Ally Langdon.

Seventeen-year-old Kelsie Davies was travelling home from a church group last night when her car was allegedly hit from behind by a stolen Mercedes Benz.

Kelsie had only graduated from high school last year.

Mother-of-two and youth pastor Michale Chandler, 29, was also in the car and died, whilst the third passenger, 23-year-old Kayla Behrens, is fighting for life in a Brisbane hospital.

The other victim was 52-year-old nurse Sheree Robertson, who was killed when the one of the other vehicles was allegedly forced head-on into her car.

She had just finished her shift at Maryborough Hospital and was on her way home.

The 13-year-old boy has been charged with three counts of dangerous driving causing death and police are also investigating if there was a second teenager involved in the incident after they were allegedly seen fleeing the scene after the crash.
