One year ago the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide released its final report with 122 recommendations.

Nearly all of the report's suggestions were adopted, but advocates and families say they don't feel like much has changed.

Ahead of Legacy Week, which shines a spotlight on the sacrifices made by our Diggers, A Current Affair spoke to President of Legacy Brisbane and Board Member for Legacy Club Services Dr. Annabel McGuire about the desperate work to support veterans.
