Rob Thomas spills process behind new album as he announces Aussie tour

Matchbox Twenty lead vocalist and solo artist Rob Thomas has announced he's going to tour Australia.
He will be performing hits from his new solo album All Night Days when he kicks off his tour in Perth on October 24 before heading to Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney and wrapping up in Brisbane on November 8.
"I spent a lot of time curating to make sure I had the right songs for this record," he told Nine Entertainment Editor Richard Wilkins.

Thomas spilled on how he decides whether a song will be one for his band or himself.
"They let me know. They say 'I don't like this song' and I go 'That's it, I'm gonna keep it then'," he said.
Tickets go on sale to the general bublic next Thursday, May 29 with Ticketek.
