Debate rages around Aussies' right to disconnect after work
The thought of ignoring work calls from your boss once you've knocked off for the day is a pipedream for many, but it could be edging closer to reality.
France passed workplace laws essentially granting employees the right to disconnect outside work hours in 2017, and debate is raging about whether Australia should follow suit.

While unions and workers are keen on the idea, and a Senate committee even recommended the government consider legislating the right to disconnect, company bosses are unsurprisingly less keen on the idea.
