Second worker comes forward with allegation of sleazy behaviour against customer

There's been an update on a story A Current Affair revealed last night about handyman Peter Crawford and his sleazy behaviour.

Another woman has come forward saying she received harassment from him that was so bad she stopped working at her place of employment.

She is the latest woman to come forward with serious allegations about Mr Crawford and his sleazy behaviour.

"People feel because we're in these job titles and we're working at these kinds of shops that we should just expect it," the retail worker told A Current Affair.

"It shouldn't be expected. It's not right. We deserve some respect."

Last night, married mother-of-two Katrina Wills made allegations about Mr Crawford's actions towards her at the Ipswich bottle shop where she works.

Sure enough, 29-year-old Faith came forward today wanting to tell her experience too.

The mother-of-three worked at the same shopping centre as Mrs Wills in a cigarette store.

Faith said the married father, Mr Crawford, was also a regular customer there.

She claims her first encounter with him was after returning from a bathroom break.

"When I came back, he waited until the shop was empty. And that's when he wanted to turn around and say something to me and said, 'Oh, I thought you were offering for me to have a quickie out the back with ya,'" Faith told A Current Affair reporter Dan Nolan.

"I told him that 'I'd rather stab myself with a pen'. Yep."

It's a blunt response, but she claims his sleazy behaviour continued despite requests to stop.

"I had confronted him and I told him, 'You need to leave my shop, you know', he used a few curse words and told him he was he was 'not welcome' there. He kept coming back anyway," Faith said.

When asked about how it made her feel, the woman said, "oh, horrible".

"Like I was scared to go to work some nights," she said.

"There were times where he would actually just sit outside the shop for hours on end.

"And just felt like he was just watching me … you know, on days where nothing else in the centre was open except for me. And he'd just sit in the car for hours and hours and hours."

She eventually decided to switch jobs to a different store to avoid any further contact.

Mr Crawford has been banned from Mrs Wills' bottle shop as a result of his behaviour but she's since made a statement with police and wants him charged.

He has a previous history of being a "sex pest", offering young women money for sex.

Mr Crawford's lawyer declined to comment on these fresh allegations but said she expects he will be formally charged by police tomorrow over the original complaint.

Queensland Police is investigating Mr Crawford's behaviour and the second woman said she too is willing to make a statement if needed.
