Powderfinger lead turned solo artist Bernard Fanning announces new national tour

Bernard Fanning became a household name as the lead singer of Powderfinger.

He then released his debut solo album Tea and Sympathy, which turned out to be a raging success.

Now, he's celebrating the 20th anniversary of the album on a tour around Australia early next year.

He hasn't spoken about it in an interview until now.

He told A Current Affair about the details of his national tour in February and March.

"I can't wait to get around the place and celebrate with people," he said.

Fanning will begin the tour in Adelaide on February 27 and will have 13 more stops across Australia until he wraps up on the Gold Coast on March 28.
