Clarification

Clarification
On 8 August 2019, A Current Affair reported on a community dispute which had arisen after the Northern Beaches Council installed signs reminding users of the Manly Lagoon area to keep noise levels down out of respect for nearby residents. During the report, references were made to one particular resident who had raised concerns about noise levels in the area. While he was not named in the Report, that resident was Mr John Geber. The report also included a short interview with Ms Michelle Geber and another member of the Geber family.
A Current Affair wishes to clarify that the complaints made by Mr Geber were not in any way related to noise emanating from the nearby children's playground and that the only concerns raised by Mr Geber related to noise emanating from the adjacent dog park. A Current Affair also understands Mr Geber is not the only individual to have raised such concerns with the Northern Beaches Council.
A Current Affair apologises to Mr Geber and his family for any distress which may have been caused by the report.
We’d love to hear from you
