Meet Australia's youngest, and bravest, police inspector
He may be too young to drive, vote or even have a Facebook account. But don't let Bryson's age fool you.
The 12-year-old is Australia's youngest police inspector. He's had a tough start to life, and is as brave as they come.
The Miles family's world came crashing down just before Bryson's third birthday - when he was diagnosed with brain cancer.
Bryson even had the riot squad following his orders. Nine
"So we did six months of chemo in and out of hospital," his mother Tamara said.
"And we got the all clear last year, around the same time last year, that he was cancer-free.
But that relief was short-lived. Two months ago doctors found another tumour.
To make life a little brighter, Make-A-Wish Australia is making Bryson's greatest dream come true.
Bryson had a day with police, hunting down a suspect alongside other officers.
And New South Wales Police have welcomed him with open arms.
"I'd love one day to see Bryson walking down the street in a police uniform," Superintendent Martin Fileman said.
"I think everyone would - it would be fantastic."
