Nine-year-old Jack was born with an extremely rare condition - an unbalanced translocation of chromosomes - that means he can't walk or talk.

When we first met Jack, his specialty pram had been stolen in a cruel act that left his family shattered.

Carefully fitted and tailored to his needs, the pram was his most-used piece of equipment.

That's when heartbreak turned into something beautiful.

"I just want to cry," mum Aleisha Magri said.

"We are just so overwhelmed. I have no words. I just, I'm so grateful.

"With this money, we can buy him a brand new pram, have it before Christmas, and buy him extra things that we wouldn't have been able to get him."

A Current Affair was invited along as Jack and his parents tried out some new prams, demos included.
