Social enterprise looks to the future with out-of-this-world real estate pitch
A social enterprise is encouraging prospective homeowners to think outside the box - and perhaps even the galaxy - when looking for their dream space, putting out expressions of interest for a UFO-shaped property in Perth.
Built in the 1960s, the rare Futuro house is the brainchild of Finnish architect Matti Suuronen.
Despite being talked up as the modular home of the future, fewer than 100 of the UFO-inspired homes were built and only a few dozen are left in the world.

It's believed there are seven in Australia, including one at Tasmania's Museum of Old and New Art.
Now expressions of interest are being sought for a fully renovated Futuro home in Perth.
A Current Affair spoke to Spacemarket director Sarah Booth, who put the call out for potential home owners interested in the outer space inspired abode.
