Elusive builder nailed on the Sydney Metro

When Tony Naaman and his wife Mandy engaged builder Ali Ghasemi to construct their forever home, they never expected to have to pay for it twice.
That's how the couple feel after forking out $1.3 million to Ghamsemi to build their house in Sydney's Glenhaven - only for a report to reveal more than $900,000 worth of defects.
"You may as well build a new house," Tony told A Current Affair.
A Current Affair bumped into Ali Ghasemi on the Sydney Metro. A Current Affair
A NSW court and the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal ordered Ghasemi to pay Tony and Mandy $921,000 for their troubles, but the couple claim Ghasemi has ghosted them.
So they called in A Current Affair, which bumped into Ghasemi from Hometek Renovations and Extensions on the Sydney Metro.
It was quite the ride.
