Exclusive: The father of one of 14 fringe-church group members convicted over the death of eight-year-old Elizabeth Struhs is speaking out to warn others about the dangers of religious cults.

Cameron Schoenfisch told A Current Affair his son's views and behaviours began to change after cult members and sisters, Acacia and Camelia Stevens convinced Lachlan and Sam, who attended a local church, to come to their home church instead.
Now the Queensland dad wants to warn others about how quickly they can brainwash the unsuspecting.
"Please don't get involved, run away screaming," Cameron told A Current Affair.
