In 2011, a planning permit was issued for the site on 86 Charman Road in Mentone.

It specifies that no onsite parking is available for construction workers and they are required to park in unrestricted parking areas available on nearby Balcombe Road and Charman Road.

Council’s parking officers have attended the site in the past to make sure that the laneway was kept clear and will continue to monitor the site and remind the owner of the permit conditions regarding parking in the area.
