Dedicated Alva has sold poppies for Remembrance Day for 15 years
A Current Affair Staff

Alva Lewis didn't serve our country at war but she's certainly given back.
Her service is right behind the eftpos machine in her local shopping centre selling poppies.
For 15 years, this 97-year-old has volunteered her days in the lead-up to November 11.

Alva couldn't miss a Remembrance Day.
She wants to keep at it until her 100th birthday.
