The potential cost of Australia's COVID-19 roadmap

All most people want for Christmas this year is more freedom to be with family, to travel and the ability to enjoy the festive season as normally as possible.
But will that be likely and at what cost?

New South Wales has hit the 70 per cent double dosed mark, which means its three-month lockdown will be lifted on Monday.
Gyms, pubs, clubs, retail stores, hairdressers, cinemas and indoor pools will be back open to the fully vaccinated, with caps on numbers.
Up to 10 visitors will be allowed at home, 30 at outdoor gatherings, and up to 100 people will be allowed at weddings and funerals held outdoors.

NSW is forecast to hit the 80 per cent fully vaccinated goal by November 1, which would bring more freedoms including:
- Unrestricted travel to regional areas
- Up to 20 adult visitors in your home and 50 people at outdoor gatherings
- Up to 3000 people at ticketed outdoor events
But some health advocates worry it's too much too soon.
