Fears state-run vaccine hub closures will delay Australia's booster shot rollout
There are fears that state-run vaccination hubs will be closed over the Christmas period as millions of Aussies rush to get their COVID-19 booster shot on the government's urging.
All levels of government have been pushing for those eligible to get their booster shot as soon as possible as the country faces record numbers of daily cases.
But come Christmas Eve, most of the state-run vaccine hubs such as South Brisbane and The Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton are closing for 12 days until January 4th, 2022.

Today following an emergency meeting of National Cabinet, Prime Minister Scott Morrison urged state governments to reopen state-run hubs urgently to deal with the Omicron wave.
