Savvy business owner issues scam warning after being tricked
Marketing business owner Tim Watkins thought he was pretty savvy when it came to picking up on a scam message.
But now Watkins is speaking out to warn others about how easy it can be to be fooled after he received a text message from the same number his bank uses that looked like the real deal.
"The text basically said, 'here is the passcode that you will require for the online payment that you've made for $850 on Amazon. If it wasn't you, or you didn't request this, please call this number'," Watkins said.

Watkins said he'd just been paid by his clients.
He was tricked into handing over "one-time passcodes" generated in his NAB app.
