How one innocent online exchange may stop Apollo Rose's rise to stardom
"Hey - We have a question to ask."
This was the innocent Instagram direct message Brisbane band Apollo Rose sent to a user in the UK who they wanted to swap account names with.
The response they got stunned them, and went viral.

This social media post went viral, and changed the lives of the band members of Apollo Rose for all of the wrong reasons. A Current Affair
The five boys from Brisbane, who work nine-to-five jobs and try to achieve their dream of music on the side, were trolled on social media, with their families even receiving death threats.
"I had somebody say that they were gonna blow my head off if they ever saw me in public," one of them said about the threats.
It caused them to cancel their second live gig, and may have stopped their journey to stardom before it even started.
