Accused wedding crasher charged again following alleged string of crimes
Exclusive: An accused wedding crasher who police say snuck into eight Melbourne nuptials has spent a month as a fugitive, after failing to show up to court.
A Current Affair can reveal 24-year-old Ahmad Fahiz Moosafeer was bailed multiple times over three further sets of alleged offending.
In addition to allegedly stealing $16,500 from newlyweds between April and May last year, court documents allege in the months that followed, Moosafeer shoplifted, set three cars alight and stole jewellery, clothing and a wallet.

For those alleged offences, the Mauritius national was repeatedly granted bail.
In late January, he failed to show up to a hearing at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court, sparking a manhunt.
Victoria Police said officers arrested Moosafeer around a month later and he was bailed again.

Former Senator and justice campaigner Derryn Hinch slammed the decision to continually release Moosafeer.
He said it was a "big effing (sic) surprise" the 24-year-old went on the run.

"If you are bailed – and that's an honour system – and you breach that honour, you break that promise, then bang, you (should) go inside," Hinch said.
"In Victoria, the state government's under a lot of pressure to ease the bail laws. I think it should be the other way around, they should be tightening them up."
Groom Jack Boscariol, whose wedding was allegedly hijacked by Moosafeer, said "it's a danger to the public for him to be out in the public again and again".

"I could just go down the street and do whatever," Boscariol said.
"Oh well, I'll get charged and go out on bail."
He's due back in court on March 29.
