Statement from Progress Solar

Progress Solar is actively engaging with the Springvale community and local groups on the proposed solar facility on a former landfill site.  The project is currently in the planning application phase and the team has been encouraged by the response from the community; which has been overwhelmingly positive.

The proposed development is an opportunity to transform a former landfill site into a green energy generating solar farm that will benefit the community for generations.

The project is expected to power around 10,000 average Victorian houses a year with clean green electricity.
