Dr James Wright, Australia's first TV medic, dies just two weeks before 95th birthday

Australia's first TV medic, Dr James Wright, has died at the age of 94, just two weeks shy of his 95th birthday.
Wright was known as the "merry medic" and was a regular on the Midday show, before hosting programs on radio, writing for newspapers and magazines, and penning more than 30 books over the course of his career.

His legacy lives on through the Medi Aid Centre Foundation, which he set up with his late wife, Noreen.
