9NEWS apology and correction

On Saturday 14 July 2018, Nine News Melbourne broadcast a report of a police pursuit of an allegedly stolen truck from Werribee to Wyndham Vale, and the subsequent arrest and charge of a 28 year old man, Jason Borg.

That report inadvertently included images of a man described as the accused, which were used in error.

The man depicted was not the accused and was not in any way connected with the events described in the report.

9NEWS unreservedly apologises to the man depicted and regrets the error.
