On 29 January 2023, Nine's 6pm bulletin of Nine News broadcast a report about an incident involving a car which caught on fire in Forrestville.
Nine News confirms the car's single occupant was outside the car when it caught fire and was not harmed. Nine News also confirms that the fire did not start in the car's engine.
