Woman, 93, faces her fear of water by going down a slide for the first time
They say you're never too old to face your fears... 93-year-old Lucy is proof of that!
To overcome her fear of water, Lucy decided to go down a waterslide at her local YMCA, in the US city of Toledo, Ohio.
The Francis Family YMCA posted the video on its Facebook page.
"Our member Lucy, 93 years old, faced her fear of water today by going down a water slide for the first time. Nice job, Lucy!"
There was definitely no sign of fear as Lucy reached the bottom of the slide, where her swim instructor was waiting.
The inspirational video has now been viewed more than 8500 times.
"Mom, you never seem to amaze me. What an accomplishment and what a encouragement you are to others. I love you," Dianne Taylor wrote on Facebook.
"Love you grandma! That looked like so much fun! Your next adventure will be dancing on tables at my wedding!" grand-daughter Tiffany Campbell posted.
