No matter how many times the experts tell us the risks are miniscule and the rewards substantial, so many Australians are still hesitant about getting a COVID-19 vaccine, in particular the AstraZeneca jab. Misinformation, mixed messaging and anxiety is leading to decision paralysis. But waiting is the worst thing we can do. As Tom Steinfort reports, "Just do it" is no longer only an advertising slogan for running shoes – it has become a mantra that all Australians must accept in this desperate race to reclaim our lives.
