Today KISS remain one of the biggest bands ever.
Over five decades they've sold more than a hundred million albums, which is a very satisfying way of rubbing their paint in the faces of critics who said they'd never make it.

As soon as that make up goes on the alter egos appear. Gene is the Demon and Paul the Star Child, joining their long-time band mates, Tommy Thayer as the Space Man and Eric Singer as the Cat Man.
Along with the unmistakable face paint there are also the comic-book costumes and up close, they're something to behold.

In true KISS style, the promise is that every performance on this tour is larger – and probably louder – than the last one.
It's controlled mayhem on stage – an explosive sound echoed by a crowd that shouts out every word to every KISS anthem.
It's impossible not to join in.

Attention will soon turn Down Under, where it's guaranteed Paul and Gene will lead another KISS extravaganza.
But after that, it's anyone's guess.

Whatever the future brings, when Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley take to the stage for their final show, there's no doubt it'll be a KISS goodbye to remember.
