The ‘man basher’ who threatened Ian Leslie mid-interview
In 1987 Ian Leslie interviewed Shere Hite, a controversial sex educator and feminist who had been accused on man bashing. When Ian questioned Shere, she replied, “Man bashing? Well, there’s going to be some man bashing right now!” before storming out of the interview.
